I feel stupid.
Hi I'm new and this is my first post. I plan on getting a white 6 speed WS6 this spring before I go out west to vegas for college. I know that I want a firehawk hood and not any thing else. I did a search and the results were vague. What exactly has to be done to the facia and hood to make it fit properly? At first I read the facia had to be trimmed, then I read that the latch has to be modified and I got confused from that point. I'll find a good deal on the hood so dont worry.

Sorry I dont have a better picture...
The plastic on the far right hand side of the picture needs to be shaved in. If you are looking down on the front facia, you will see two plastic wing looking thing that are a little further in. Those need to go

That's cool and I'm certainly not telling you how to mod your car, but I'd just go ahead and find a nice used Firehawk instead of replacing the hood on a WS6 with a FH hood. I cant imagine that there'd be much of a price difference. Personally, I think the WS6 hood is much more aggressive and intimidating than the FH, but that's just me. Anyway, happy modding!

I think the WS6 hood is more aggressive looking than the Firehawk hood too.
I'd save your money on the hood and put that $$$ towards some other mods...
Good luck in whatever you decide & good luck at school...

I think I have changed my mind anyways. the SLP HO hood has grown on me. the $$$ I save on that can be used towards some LT's and dual exhaust.
this car changed my mind. all it needs are some fixed, non pop up headlights for an even more custom look.
