I was looking for all the stats possible on my 98 Trans Am, mainly performance stuff. Its all stock. I just want to know where I stand
ALSO, did all 98 and up Trans Ams all come posi???

I think he is talking about stuff like 1/4 mile times 0-60 and stuff like that. If so it just depends on who you ask. It also depends on which transmission and rearend you have your driving ability and other factors.

thanks you all, the last reply is what i meant, I really dont know much about that stuff, like rearends, and trannys, but I have the 6 speed, Hurst shifter, and the rear end is NOT posi, and I really dont know why, I thought all T/A's were posi... I used to have a 99 ws6 that I wrecked and it was posi, my buddies 97 is posi... but this one isnt.

It was posi. The clutches are just worn out.

As far as performance you should be able to hit between 13.0 to 13.5 seconds in the 1/4 mile at between 102 to 107 mph. I am not sure about he 0-60 times. I would say somewhere in the mid 5 second area.

0-60 is pretty meaingless unless you hang with the magazine racers. LS1's are mainly considered quick because of the "Third gear" for the manuals.
