Default Can these mods really have added 20rwhp?

This is what I had in my car when I first G-Tech'ed it:
- Magnaflow Exhaust
- Edelbrock Shorty Headers
- Hurst Shifter
- Centerforce Dual Friction Clutch

Obviously only the exhuast and header had any impact on HP, and I got 271HP consistantly on my Gtech.

The I added:
- Smooth Bellows (the cheap ebay one )

And would consistantly Gtech 273HP

Ive since then added:
- MTI Lid
- FRA
- EGR Pipe Protrusion Mod
- TB Bypass
- UMI short shifter

And now Im Gtech'ing a consistant 295HP. I dunno how dead on these numbers on to the true HP of the car (i know they arent dead on, I program my Gtech so that my car weighs 3800, and htough I know this is not what my car weighs, I dont know what it weighs, I do use this weight all the time for consistancy), but the readings are consistant so I know what mods are doing what.

I was shocked when I kept on Gtech-ing 22HP higher than my last consistant readings. The other differance from then and now is the weather...whe I last made my GTech readings it was 90 degree weather, now its 75 degree weather.

What do you all think?

no, i dont think those mods would add, 20hp. i have a gtech and the horsepower reading is not that accurate, but that is what they make dyno's for. the gtechs 1/4 time and et are very accurate though.

That sounds about right to me, maybe just a tad bit optimistic. I got (when I had intake, exhaust cutout, and predator) 291 hp. I know when I took my g-tech to the track it was .01 seconds and 5 mph off. My friends g-tech however is way off. I have to agree with CrazytrainWS6, the g-techs quarter mile time is more accurate than the hp reading

there is a differance between accurate and precise, the gtec(pro) is not accurate (295 is not your real rwhp) however the tool and measure the gained distance fairly precisely, so could you have gained 20 hp .
yes
(oh and the short throw does not increase hp)

It shouldn't have have added 20 RWHP, but it easily should have made like 10-15.

When it comes down to it.....it truly doesn't matter how much horsepower you have....it's the time to get from start to finish that does.

I kinda doubt over 20 HP with those mods but maybe 10-15. I guess 20 isn't tottaly out of the question I know the free mods helped my truck out a lot.

I would not put much stock in the #'s from a G-tec. put it on a dyno.

yes, yes really.

if all your darts hit the 5 on the dartboard, you are very precise, just not very accurate. if they all hit the center, you are precise and accurate.
