driver side window motor died at 23k miles - replaced under warranty
warped rotors - mostly my fault I think

and that's it!

It has been pretty much trouble free.

Oh yeah guys, if don't already know... if you're curious about the maintenance history of your car as far as dealer work goes. Get your VIN, bring it to the dealer ship and have them print out the history of it. It will show you anything significant it has come in for and see if you need to do any recall or service bulletin stuff. It will show date and mileage of the times as well...

00 WS6 Trans AM - bought at 41k, currently 47k
Rearend seals and bearings right after I bought it - $370 installed
squeak from rear suspension - took off and lubed rear sway bar bushing (fixed it)
front brakes squeal - new pads with anti-squeal stuff
lubed rear hatch because it didn't want to open (works now)
lubed attenna because it stopped going down all the way (works now)

95 Z28 convertible:
passenger side window/top leaked (a little embarassing handing a towel to a date so she doesn't get wet)
after the dealership did recall work to the airpump it idled weird
6-speed took a crap (kept popping out of reverse)

HAHA...yep, I bought a towel especially for my car that matched the interior color! It wasn't an old "Superman" towel that was used to jerk off in.

I took the car to the dealership and the manager said it was normal for the top to leak a little. I said Bullshit, if the US got men on the moon over 30 years ago without the space capsule leaking...with the technology today you can definately get a car's top not to leak.

My 2000 Trans AM's t-tops don't leak....ITS A MIRICLE!! - my 3rd f-body and the only one not to leak.

I have a 2002 WS6 M6 with 24,000 miles.So far (knock on wood):

Clutch pedal spring
O2 sensor
Passenger side catylitic converter

I have heard that alot of F-body owners have problems with the power windows.I hope this doesn't happen with mine.

Around 14k miles or so and just 2 problems so far.

1. The manual tilt adjust for the drivers seat (not the back, but the bottom) has never worked since I bought the car.
2. The manual mirror adjustment on the driver side broke the other day and now I can't move the mirror. When I drive the mirror moves around like crazy and I can hear some cheap plastic pieces moving around inside the mirror housing. DAMN POS plastic parts.

There is definately alot of room for improvement on reliablity and fit and finish on F-bodies. That is no secret. However every line of cars have their issues.
