Get just the SLP lid, it's one of the better quality lids, rated one of the top flowing. Next get the BMR bolt on relocation brackets and fix your rear axle geometry to eliminate wheel hop. You don't need to bother with Lower control arms for now. Then get some drag radials on a pair of SLP or other "take offs" that you can pick up cheap, so you can get the power to the pavement.

Hmmm... Gas will run you $150/mo, likely insurance will cost $150/mo. That only leaves $3.33/day for food, clothing, cokes, gum, etc. Sounds like you don't have enough money to be into modding the car.
But if you do, the advice above is good. Careful with the drag radials though. Those can break your rear end, then you'll be out 2 months salary real quick.

Exactly what I was thinking.... don't waste your money on mods ( maybe something small like a lid, filter and exhaust to make it sound good ) but otherwise pay it off first, then you can mod the hell out of it

get a turbo for it
actually, I'd save up for the mods, I mean your car is already quite fast as it is, but with your budget, I'd save up little by little. Just a suggestion.

u shouldnt be worrying about modding it with 400 dollars a month. For that kinda salary you should be happy you got a 2000 SS. Enough power for ya. But if u somehow save couple of hundred buck, just get slp lid k&n filter and fill up the tank with rest.
