10k or 110k. its all dependent on how it was taken care, there is no set mileage.

I've never had a ws6 but i've had 3 z28. The one with the most miles gave me the least problems!

1. 95 Z m6 bought with 30K miles on it, bad coil pack, leaking trans all before 40k

2. 94 Z A4 130K miles with no problems at all

3. 02 Z M6 bought with 52K miles, Rear end went bad at 55K

I think it's the luck of the draw and what was stated above, All depends on how well it was maintained!

Actually the one with the most problems was an lt1, and nothing went wrong with the motor in the ls1 just the rear end which isnt surprising.

I'm up to 188k and the only problems have been the headlight and window motors going out, radio and speakers going bad, rotors warping, and a bad belt tensioner.

My car currently has 27k miles. I bought it with 12k. I beat the **** out of my car, so here's the stuff I've had to replace...

Front Brakes @ 14k miles
Clutch @ 18k miles
Carrier @ 25k miles
Window Motor @ 22k miles (has nothing to do with me beating the car though. The other motor is starting to die too).
Oxygen Sensor code gets thrown off and on too.

My last LS1 (2001 Z28) only needed the knock sensors replaced. Not because they made the car run bad, but because the stupid engine light stayed on. It had 91k miles when I sold it last year. It ran perfect.

I bought a '00 Formula about 2 years ago with 30k miles and it and it was nothing but problems. Burned out two sets of cats, a window motor, a monsoon head unit, fried the PCM, and had crazy detonation problems. My buddy on the other hand bought a '00 SS brand new and has 50k miles on the clock now and the one and only thing to ever break was the power steering pump. It's really a dice roll with these cars.

Damn! Hopefully my motor will run strong like yours, its at 105k miles and still hauling ***. Do you still run good 1/4 times? Any compression loss?

I have yet to take it to a track. As to the compression I have no idea. Recently I had a chance to drive a friend's 2000 Z28 with no mods and 58k miles, and I could feel a somewhat of a difference...in that mine felt stronger. The one constant for me, however, is regular maintenance..fluids, oil, ect. Maybe I just got lucky with mine , and you with yours

52k miles here, only thing that went bad was the alternator (although I can be the one to blame on why it went out). I don't really have any shakes & rattles, unless I'm too low into a gear (like if for some reason I'm in 5th gear at 30 mph), or if I'm sitting at an idle (decently lopey cam)

Even when modded, these cars seem to last a long time. Good luck with your future purchase!

My car had 89,000 on it when I bought it, dyno'd 289rwhp stock at 92,000 miles. Had to rebuild the tranny at 99,970 miles due to the original factory pilot bearing, clutch, and master cylinder failing (at 99k with the original clutch I don't mind hehe). and at 101,500 miles she ran a best of 13.459@105.5mph. now to start modding her. only real things i have to replace are normal wear items like belts, plugs, oil, gotta do the bushings soon in the suspension, and brakes are warped. other than that no real problems.

oh and the air pump went out but that's getting axed next weekend, block off plates should be here tomorrow (I'd do it this weekend but have orientation for a second job)

I bought my car with 24k and it is now at 44k. I have only had to replace spark plugs once and the driver door speaker. Guess I got lucky finding a good one.
