Default Baby seats in a Camaro

Does anyone have a baby seat in a 98 Camaro? Can it be done at all?
Thanks Dan.

I was wondering this too. I plan to keep my car, eventually the kids will come. I would like to take them out for a ride one day.

Absolutely. I have had Camaros and Firebirds all the years my kids were little. I always had an infant and eventually toddler seat in the back. For a while it was our only car and we had to take the baby in the Camaro. You just face it backwards as instructed and they install like they would in any other car (even with the bucket seats).

Some people say it looks wrong to have a carseat in a musclecar but I think my kids looked cool as hell in my car

Just don't race with kids in the car

I have a 3 year old and a 5 year old and they both have had seats in the rear of both my 99' Bird and my 01' WS6. They both love driving in my car and think it is a race car.

The rear seats are perfect for little ones.

I have had car seats (front& rear facing) in my 98 as well as my 2000 SS. It sucks for the passenger because you have to have the seat prety far froward for rear facing. But it works. I take my son out in the SS all the time. He loves the T-Tops.

I've got a toddler seat in the back of my '02. No one fits into the back of an F-body better than kids.

Thanks for the responses everyone. I thought you had to use those teathers on the 01-'02 cars for them to work.

When my daughter was three her favorite car was already the Camaro. (She called it the "camaro.") Nothing wrong with baby seats in your sports car, they fit fine.
