Default lookin to upgrade exhaust but not loud

I know this is a odd question on this web page as everyone wants louder... but I'm looking to improve my exhaust flow & hopefully increase power but do not want it any louder than the stock system...What brand should I look for??? I was given a Corsa recommendation already but the price is pretty steep...anything else out there...Thanks in advance

Corsa is far from what your looking for. SLP Dual Dual and hooker are among the quitest and outflow the stock muffler by far. If you dont want louder than stock get an electric cut-out. Car can soudn stock and then you open it up and its a whole new world. www.ls1sounds.com

quietest-loudest
SLP Dual/Dual, Hooker, Magnaflow, GMMG, Corsa, SLP Loudmouth

those are the most popular catback systems

My brothers friend just installed a Magnaflow on his, HE SAID its as quiet as stock at idle, just a tad louder at throttle, and a decent amount louder at WOT. Like I said, he said this, I havent heard it.

The MagnaFlow will get more throat to it after about 2000 miles.Or less with some hard driving. When the internals pack a little.

IMO: SLP dual/dual. It's not very loud, has a nice deep tone, and flows well.
