99 SS problems...any awnsers or ideas I have a 99 SS 4 speed when i get to high rpms in second gear the car cuts out really bad, then dies. Sometimes it wont even cut out, it will just die. I have replaced 2 new o2 sensors new shift solenoids, and no misfires. DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT THE DEAL IS?!?!?!?!?

ses lamp is on for o2 sensors i checked the fuel pressure it is fine...
could it be no back pressure... sometimes it will do it in 1st gear but very seldome...i usually happens in 2nd

You wrecked your car between your last two posts? thats 4 minutes, dang that sucks. Maybe when you are getting it fixed you can have a shop do a full diagnostic scan on it.

I thought I might point out that you have two extra gears your not using. Maybe that is part of the problem???
Fuel filter, fuel pump, bad gas also might be the problem.
Also are you above 6000 rpm's?? you will hit the rev limiter and that will kill it

Wreck I was on a digital laptop with wireless internet in my car. After i posted thread i closed laptop and it pulled back into the console where i have it built in....(like fast and the furious) i drove for about 2 miles then i doged a dumb *** old man turned backwards on the loop going 60 and hit a margin curb...i have now fixed the car and i am back on the road again...
