Default Have About 1g to spend

I have a 98 Z28 auto with some minor mods, I need to make some new mods . Currently running 12.9's. I have $1,000. I already have Long tubes, high flow cats, off-road y-pipe, K&N, Ram air, Sub frame connectors, 3way adjustable shocks in the rear, Hypertech chip, 3.73 gears. What should I do next?

TCI 4400 stall torque converter, tranny cooler and shift kit. The TCI will not hit as hard as a Yank 4400, but will be a blast to drive and will probably shave about .8 off your E/T. Daily driving is cake with the TCI too and with your 3.73 gears it won't have the loosness as if you had stock gears. I've got the TCI 4400 plus 3.73's and love it for a daily driver and weekend warrior.

Definitely do a converter. LT headers and a converter are the 2 most important first mods to be done IMO. These 2 combined should take off about 1 sec. off your ET.

Thanks everyone. I have et streets that I got this winter. Now if I add a Stall and tranny cooler how much should I expect to gain on my E/T?

With ET Streets and the TCI SSF3500 I lost close to .7 and gained 2 MPH. I still had about another half a tenth in there. went from 13.7x to 13.01. I was tickling the 12s.

Then put money away for when you tranny decides to take a crap on you. Some last a lot longer than others. The more power you have, the sooner it will go.
You will probably be over the $1k with all that stuff plus a transmission temperature gauge but it's a good combination of parts. You may also need a basic tune. I had a sponsor (speed inc) supply all parts and labor and it cost me $1,380 out the door.
