Default Change oil indicator flash when engine starts

Usually I take it in to the dealers, but I did the oil change myself, and I was wondering how to reset the computer so that the change oil light doesn't come on anymore

I think you turn the key to RUN, then hold down on the trip resest switch.

Would this same concept work with my '99 Trans-Am? Also, I dont mean to sound stupid, but, where is that reset switch?

Thanks-

You can also turn the car to run, and step on the gas pedal 3 times, turn the key to off and then start it up, oil change light should be out (works for an 02 TA )

Thanks Guys-

LS_Wang, I feel like a dolt, I thought by the term "Trip Reset Switch", you meant a circuit breaker trip reset in one of the access panels. Thanks for the help.
No wonder I couldn't find it in my Chilton's....

1. Turn key to the "on" position but don't start car
2. Pull the PCM BAT and PCM IGN fuses in engine compartment
3. Wait approximately 5 minutes
4. Turn ignition off
5. Replace fuses
6. Start the car and then make sure the light has gone off

it works for ses lights it might for the oil change light to
