Is It Healthy?
I've got a question that hopefully gets some response, because im sure everyone has a different opinion. Is it healthy (for the car, i know it's healthy for the driver) to get on it in your car from time to time, just to take it WOT down a road. And how much is too much??

As long as the car is warmed up to operating temps, it shouldn't cause a lot of damage. Going WOT compared to granny driving is definatly going to decrease the life of your car, but if you can find one person on this board that doesn't go WOT at least every couple of time they drive their car, then I would be amazed. The main thing to keep in mind is to keep fresh fluids in your car; oil, tranny, rear-end, etc...This will be the most determining factor in the life of your car.

I recommend that you open the car from time to time. Don't beat the **** out of it, but keep her honest. It wakes the car up a bit as well as the computer(takes it out of "efficient" mode).

Yep, waste of money to have a high performance car and not play with it from time to time. Of course it's going to decrease the engine life, but if you take good care of it, it will take good care of you.
