Next Toy?
Well as you can see by my screen name, I already own an STi. I have now decided to begin looking into my next vehicle. Now it's come down to three to pick from. It's down to the new vette, M3, or crotch rocket. Obviously the vette and M3 are a fair comparison, or do I buy a bike and save the big time $$$$. Any ideas or input?

As appealing as a bike is there are too many idiots on cell phones and older drivers who don't see motorcycles,I wouldn't buy one.I would take the Vette over the Bmw.Buy American

are you keeping the STi, if so id get the bike for the nice summer days, if not id say the m3 would be a better all season car, unless you live in an area without snow then get the corvette

I am keeping the STi. The next vehicle is mainly goning to be for nice days/summers only. Obviously the STi will take the winters and just plain crappy days. As far as the vette, it has to be an auto since my fiance can't drive a manual. So she'll get a chance to drive it unless I pick up a bike. If I get a bike, she'll get a nice car and use her jeep for the winter.

Be nice and let your lady get a nice car... you already have an STi ( which is an 04, it doesn't need to be turned into a beater )... Or do the best thing and invest the money into a house ( if you don't have one ).

The new vette meaning the C6? If so the ZO6 doesnt come in a auto, but i think someone just assumed you were getting a ZO6, but hey if you have enough dough to drop on a new c6 zo6 more power to ya, the M3 is really nice,i've actually been thinking abut getting one for awhile now, but i know that im going to want to make it fast, and its already slower than a stock ls1 f-body, even tho its nicer all around, i'd still want to make it fast, and those parts are expensive, go w/the vette and a bike! if you can get an m3 you should be able to get the vette and a nice crotch rocket for the price of the m3 (providing your buying new of course)

I've never been much of a bike guy, but yesterday I saw a Yamaha R6 and loved it. Safety is a big concern on bikes, but it would be a hell of a lot of fun. I also love all vettes, but with your circumstances I'd opt for an M3 for the wife if it has to be an auto. JMHO

fawk that teach her to drive stick and get the NEW Z06. For WAY under $100k NOTHING will come close to comparison!
STi for all weather conditions like you said
Z06 for just plain sexiness, speed, cornering, attention, and pure Chevy domination.

Get the new tiptronic Z06.
Advantages of Corvette:
Awesomely Fast
Turns more heads
HUD
Advantages of an M3:
Maybe a better daily driver
4 seats instead of 2
Cheaper insurance

I didn't even know they made the tiptronic vette!! Maybe that'll be the way to go. I would teach her how to drive stick (and have), but I'm not letting her learn on a new vette or my STi. They aren't cheap if she breaks anything.
