Default 2001 Camaro SS

Alright guys here's another car I've found that is worth looking at, what do you all think? It's a silver 2001 SS with 48,000 miles, 6 speed, t-tops, black leather, 100% stock, and "adult owned". He is asking $15k obo for it. I havent given him a call yet but I was wondering what you all thought would be a good price to start with. Thanks.

14k sounds about right for that car.

Do your homework before you call him and make an offer. Go to www.kbb.com or one of the other sites and look up the value.

If it were me I would offer $13,500 and see what he says, if he says no offer $14,000. If it's clean and runs great I wouldn't mind paying the extra cash.

Great, I plan on contacting him tomorrow and making an offer. Hopefully no one else has beaten me to it. I'll let you guys know how it goes.

Man my 107,000 mile B4C would be jealous! Still runs like a top! $14K is alright. If it were me I'd check it out. If it was super clean, I'd haggle....if you lose it theres always more.

I believe they are mostly highway miles, but who knows for sure. I havent got a hold of him today but if we can come to some sort of an agreement on price I will drive up there and check it out, maybe a test drive.

Ok wonderful- turns out the car was sold just yesterday. Just my luck I guess. the search continues..7 months and counting. How long did you all look for your car before you bought it?

I had my LT1 when i was looking so I wasn't in that big of a rush, but I was searching online for about 5 months. Finally found one on Autotrader three hours away in New London, CT at a Dodge dealership and went to pick it up three days later with my dad. There are plenty out there, so just wait until you find the right one.
