How far did you go for a LS1?

It was 120 miles one way for my z28. Then I drove it back and only stalled twice: when I was pulling out of the dealership and when I was pulling up my driveway. It was the first time I drove a manual transmission for more than a couple miles.

Found mine while visiting a friend. We were out on Waverunners visiting people we know that live on the water. There in one's garage was a shiny 2001 Z28 SS Convertible. I said nice car. He said yes, but he was going to sell it because one of his kids was turning 16 and insurance was going to skyrocket. I asked how much and the rest is history. That was 175 miles from where I live in Maryland.

From: the shit hole of Albuquerque, New Mexico
I bought mt HOSS sight unseen from an individual just south of Ft. Worth Texas and had it trucked up here to Albuquerque a few years ago. I got about 30 pictures from him along with some other info so I wasn't worried about getting shafted. It was absolutly perfect shape when i looked over it when the transporter dropped it off. Still no problems with it after almost 3 years. There is no limit within the the lower US 48 that I wouldn't go for the perfect car, hell the drive would be half the fun!.

I went approximately 250 miles one way for my WS6. I found it on carsdirect and went from WV to the other side of KY to get loook at it, then to go back and get it. The license was dead, so my cousin and I haulled it back on a trailer with his diesel Ford. The week after I agreed to buy it she got about seven more calls about it. Worth every penny and every mile!
