If you put in 5.1 seconds, 1/4 mile time is 13.56, so its not far off if the car is stock.

Alot of people judge cars quickness by 0-60 time. I think 3 people asked me in the last 2 weeks. It doesnt matter to me, but some care.

Now with a PT4000 stall/longtubes ORY-pipe,Borla,Lid and BFG KDWS tires i can feather a 4.5 ,now to get the 315/35/17 Nitto's and see what happens .

Dave
Well i got the tires and my time dropped to 3.91 without using the bottle.
I really love this new convertor.
Nitto's work good for me , but i wanted to get the new M/T drag radials though.

Maybe next time around .

0-60 usually judges "quickness" 1/4 mile is more a "fast" thing, there is a differnce, especially in street races and such , it gives yuo the extra edge

I hope so because, if its not completely obvious, stopwatches are very inaccurate. If I used a stopwatch for my jeep I'd be getting 0-60 in 5 seconds

Stock I'd say ~5.0. When magazines ran tests they'd usually get low 5's.

On ET streets, at the track, mine is ~3.5. Should drop even more when I get out in the cool air later this month.

If you serious so you're lucky and not far off with 01 and 02 modules, especially with ZO6 intake and clutch from the factory

How much did you launch your RPM with 4.9s??

0-60mph measures more the ability of the driver rather than the car. They can range a few seconds given different drivers.

I call BS on less than ~4.8-4.9 0-60 times on a bone stock Z/SS/WS6.

Peruse this site: http://www.car-stats.com/stats/search/choosemake.aspx
It's been up a while and seems to be pretty accurate for the most part.

According to that site a 99 Z28 does 0-60 in 5.2 stock, and a 01 does 0-60 in 5.5.

So it shows driver error. Find any times less than 4.9?

You can look through these sites as well:
http://www.albeedigital.com/supercou...0-60times.html
http://web.missouri.edu/~apcb20/times.html

Unless they all copy each other, I find it hard to believe that people who have run sub 4.8-4.9 stock 0-60 have yet to post at least once on one of these.

5.0 to 5.3 is about right on the street with a stock car. Have some of you been hanging out with to many ricers?
