You aren't going to get your wanted rwtq number without adding displacement.

It's very comical when people have a paragraph long list of mods, which only includes things their parents may let get, and they don't have a car yet.

Out of curiosity, where will you get the $10,000 that will end up being needed?

In order to give you the best advice possible, I'd like to make sure you really will have thousands upon thousands of dollars to throw at the car (when you get it).

You are looking at getting WAY more than you need to simply run the 1/4 mile in 11 seconds. Bolt ons, converter, sticky tires and a cam will do it virtually guranteed. It is also very unlikely that you will need the 12 bolt with an automatic running an NA stock displacement motor....you will probably end up looking at spending a couple grand or more for a tranny though.

You think that $8/hour is a "high paying job", you are 15, you don't have a car yet, let alone an LS1 F-body, and you are talking about spending thousands upon thousands of dollars a long time from now.

These types of threads always end up being a complete waste of time. I can't tell you how many people have researched the exact number of mods they were going to get when they got the car yet are never heard from again.

Since you have plenty of time on your hands the absolute best thing you can do is routinely browse this board and read read read (also search search search) so thta when the time comes and you have the car plus mod money you will know exactly what you want to do and why without having other people tell you.

I'm not going to say anything about the age thing because i was 15 once, and i had big plans for my 5.0. Don't get an LS1 for your first car. If you must have a V8 and rwd then get a 5.0 or an LT1 car.

If you're set on the LS1 then get yourself a '98 with an A4. Get a stall, and go full bolt on's. You'll get that 11 sec slip with almost no effort.

You can easily achieve what you're wanting as far as HP. Don't expect your torque to be that high though. Ported and polished heads and a 226 duration cam would put you where you're wantin to be. I make good power with my 226 cam and no heads.

Oh Hell when I was 15 I didnt even think about getting a car like this ,I couldnt afford the insurance!Hence I had to stick with an older car and modded my 71 Buick GS.Give it time Kid pick your mods wisely and take your time choosing them. What works for one Car may not work for the other.Trust me been there done That...Just some food for thought...Good Luck...

automatics have huge Drivetrain number losses....what you want to do is focus on how effectively the power is being put tot he ground... full bolt ons tune, converter tire gear suspension and some weight reduction will get you there i believe shouldnt be to hard. remember these things take $$$$
