Well actually the real numbers are right in between what we've said, anywhere from 265-285WHP. So its slightly less than what most stock LS1's dyno at.

Heres an article about the Mach 1 in regards to its HP output:

I think mine stock dynoed like 286 to the rear wheels, now it does like 308 with a few bolt ons.

Oh, and not all saleens are supercharged...

But the thing to remember is that most dyno numbers are bull.

Where they corrected to SAE, what level graph smoothing was used and what type of dyno was it on.

330rwhp STD on a Dynojet is actually about the same as 300rwhp SAE on a Mustang Dyno.

So unless you know specifically what dyno and what correction factors have been used there is almost no point in comparing dyno numbers.

As a rule, load bearing dyno's such as Mustang Dyno's offer more comparable numbers to manufacturer claimed SAE Net numbers than that of a Dynojet Dyno.

From what I've seen Mach 1's seem to dyno a genuine 265-270rwhp SAE on a Mustang Dyno, which means they are probably producing something like ~310-320bhp SAE Net, so slightly underatted by Ford and about the same as a late model non supercharged Cobra.

I know the 05-06 saleens are not all supercharged, but did they make any of the earlier models NA? I mean I saw one 06 saleen at a local deal for 43K and it was NA (rated 330 HP), and I couldnt ever see spending that much money for a 330hp car. Look real nice but a waste of money IMO.
