Yeah as far as cleaning yes i celan mine every month but I like doing stuff like that. it doesnt hurt since i have a K&N filter.

totally agree, also depends if you have a camaro or a Ws6... the ws6 draws air from the hood more and the camaro draws more from the bottom

now I wouldn't mind cleaning the K&N filter alittle more often, but I hate heat soak. It's bad for the engine, and it's bad for power. I also live in Miami where I get some ofthe worst traffic ever during some of the hottest days ever. Couple that with heat soak all the time and my engine won't be lasting the 130,000 miles that I need it to.

ok i did the fra mod before i saw all the cons and now my water temp is over 200, never went above 200 until now. bad idea, dont do it. now i gotta figure out a way to put that plastic thats been trashed back in its place.
