layaway parts
i was just wondering if there was a company that offered somekinda layaway plan for parts because my camaro and jeep payment and insurince is killin me, need to get some mods for my LS1 but with all the stuff that im paying out i end up with only half of the amount for a nos kit out of every pay check. just wondering if anyone knew anything about some company that offers that because i would really like to be able to get some mods right now, until i get my next raise.

To actually answer your question, I don't know of any layaway mod companies, and I seriously doubt anybody does that. Sorry!

Do you have any local speed shops in your area? That would be the best place to try. But keep in mind if you can barely afford to modify your car for more power, how are you gonna maintain a car that will break more often because it has more power? NOS cars require refills VERY often, and go through plugs and clutches and rear tires like crazy. ask me how i know.....

I don't really know how much nitrous systems cost, but maybe just pick up cheap bolt-on mods first? Won't be as big of an impact, but everything helps in the end. Is the Camaro stock right now?

I doubt anyone is going to do it because cars are generally a bad investment. Although they are alot of fun, aftermarket parts do not hold their value very well.
If you must you can get a personal loan or use a credit card but I dont recommend either. Just save up your money and do what you can until you can get a degree and a better job.

We offer our kits in stages. You can also put half down on an Eco-Street kit which isn't much...$875? This kit will get you an easy 450rwhp with the proper size turbo and low boost. It comes with everything needed, minus turbo and BOV if your car is M6.

Yea man, save money. I get so frustrated with people that can't wait and save and then end up 50k in credit card debt. I just don't see how people do it. I waited a couple years and bought my car with cash. Did I want a ls1, heck yes. I wasn't willing to go in debt for it though. As long as I can help it, I'll never be in debt. Except for a house, however, I'd like to pay for that in cash too, but we all know that's not happening for a 20 yr old.
