Keep lookin gets my vote...you should add that into the poll..heh. But seriously, just look for the one that feels right, took me about 6 months of looking and got lucky and found one about 3 weeks ago, right before summer started. Keep in mind that prices are higher now than they will be if you want to wait until just before the winter season. The low mileage is a plus, but i wouldn't pay that, not even for an 02. most i would go is 17,500. Get a stock one like i did so you can feel each mod as you do it. Good luck!

They're both damn near new cars with that low of mileage. Either would be a good deal, but the lower mileage stock car would probably be the best bet.

The lower miles one here too. The cae is barley even broke in. Then you can enjoy doing each mod yourself too and get the headers you want.

There's a car lot around here selling a 01 WS6 for 18,900 wit 40k miles, so I'd say the 14k mile one is a good deal. Although I still can't imagine my grandma shifting through the 6-speed transmission...lol..

If you buy a modded car, You'll hate wondering what exactly has and has not been done. You'll look at something and have a feeling it was jurry rigged. Maybe a bolt was lost and replaced with something lying around in the garage. You just dont know and it will drive you crazy. Go for stock, for piece of mind.

I would go ahead and fork out the additional $2.5k. It has lower miles, lady driven, no mods and probally less wear and tear. When I bought mine, I wanted it stock so it could be my project car. Hands down the lower mileage, stock Camaro gets my vote!

Most certianly if you can afford the lower miles stock SS. DO IT! If you can not afford right now. try to work out a good deal on the other.

go for the 14k car. How old is the guy selling the 40k car? you know that the car with the mods has been beat on at LEAST a little bit. whereas that 14k car is still a virgin. Good luck to you!

The problem is how would you know for sure that ANY car was not modded? A lot of folks put their cars back to stock before selling them as they know the mods make the car less desirable. Who is to say that a car was not highly modded then put back to stock. The seller could then bring the car to his mom's to sell. You show up and see an old lady and think the car was really babied. Fact is you never know for sure without a complete tear down. At least the modded car you know what was done to it. I'd still say go with the lower mileage car. At least you know if it was modded it wasen't for as many miles
