Default Tune or tires???

Okay Im cutting 2.0 60 ft's on my crappy tires. But I Have an Ls6 cam and a 100 shot(dry) and a few boltons that are in my sig. Should I get some BFGs MT's or a Tune? Im completely undecided and need some input , sorry if this is the wrong forum but had no idea which one to put it into.

Thats tough, How is your tread? If its good, then I'd get a tune and work on tires after that, just for motor safety sake.

Tune first, tires are cheap compared to a motor

I would get the tune first. Witch cost more motor or tires? Besides the tires will eventually go bald and you'll have to get another pair. The motor running properly is more important.

I also say tune, with traction come breaking stuff...namely rear ends.

Well I have the cam in but not the heads. But luckily I have a guy around me who tines LS1's for a 100 bucks and is known to be one of the best tuners around. And hed only charge me a few bucks for a retune after the initial first tune so its no big deal. I decided to get a tune then get tires after that.
