you can have fun on either one. its your personality right now that makes either one the better fit. right up until i turned 21, my answer would have been the bike, no questions asked. now, i understand that isnt always the right answer. lol.

Definitely the LS1 T/A! A bike is fun and all, but it's always nice to have 4 wheels under you.

joe32725 I'm in the same position you are. Although I already have a nice 01 SS I would haft to sell it to get a bike and another car, If I did I'd get a R6 or a GSXR600 and a 97-99 Eclipse GSX.

Anywho I've drove the two of them, few ls1's and a R6 and a GSXR 600. And the bikes are alot more excitement IMO. Also alot more dangerous and thats probably why I don't have one

Where do you live? If you are in a constantly warm climate without cold/snow/ice, I'd lean toward the bike. If you are somewhere that has winters, I'd go with the car.

I was in the same boat as you untill i got into a fourwheeler accident that almost took my life, left me on bed rest for 6 MONTHS!, made me have enough titanium in my body to added weight to my body :S. I guess i came so close to death that i dotn want to take another chance like that. I know you can get hurt on a bike just as well as in a car but your taking more of a risk. Dont get me wrong i ride bikes when a friend will bring one over or whatever but i dont think i could buy one and ride it all the time.

most bike accidents come from inexperienced riders who ride TOO FAST......Same goes with a Sport car.
Accident happen, broken bones mend, and chicks dig scars......But in a T/A all you have to do is role up the windows and put the tops back on when it rains!!

not only that but all it takes is a driver to not pay attention and slowing creep into your lane and you could be taken out. 65mph + pavement= OUCh. Now if someone did that to another car unless that person hits you hard all your going to have is maybe a dent or scratch on the car? Ill take the car IMO

I have both and I would give up my bike anyday for my car. No comparison.

I have fucked up in the TA and not been injured, I wont be able to say the same after I **** up on the bike...

its not always because the rider goes too fast--

http://www.clarity.net/~adam/hurt-report.html

I plan on getting a bike next year and keeping the T/A

FWIW my bolt on TA hangs with my buddies stock 06' cbr600F4i from a 40 roll up to 120 and only then does he slowly pull away.
And no he doesnt suck at riding, he has been riding since he was 7yrs old its 2nd nature to him

also ugly and there are 5 billion of them per square mile

i say get the car, b/c there seems to be a frenzy lately with the f-body cars and ppl are gobbling them up like crazy.. .they already cost way more than they probably should... then wait a couple years and buy the bike.... although, i'm not one to talk, i have two f-bods and a litre-bike...

although i must agree with whoever said that bikes are more exciting... the only thing not rediculously fun about a bike is buyign new rear tires every 2K miles (but i guess taht depends on how you ride too)

Get the bike and get it out of your system. Just don't kill/cripple yourself. Then you can get the TA later on.
