So I just got a WS6 like two weeks ago and I'm trying to decide whether I should start with some appearance mods or do a full exhaust mod. I recently got a few bolt on mods like a 160 degree thermo, lid, pro 5.0, and lou's short stick. I have a limited amount of resource (MONEY), seeing that I'm a college student and I'm trying to decide to get some appearance mods like emblems, chrome inserts, and a lot of suspension work. Or to get headers, ORY, and cat back. What do you guys think?

exhaust gets my vote. like stated above, if you want to turn heads, exhaust is the way to go.

Yeah I am in the same spot as you are. Appearance or exauhst? Hmmm... Yeah there are a few things I want to do to spice up the looks but that exauhst note just aint quite what I want either. GMMG would do the trick.

ws6 already looks sick. Do the full exhaust if you can and people won't have a choice but to look at you. Plus you'll be faster. I see no other option.

I would also go with exhaust, appearance mods are pretty cheap and you should be able to throw on Emblems, a Grille etc. Even after exhaust, it may take a month or two to get the money but you'll be much happier doing exhaust first.

I'm in the same boat. I decided to go with exhaust. Just saving up for the headers and Y. I don't think you will be disappointed if you go with exhaust first...

I just took off some plain black Hooker headers/Y-pipe to make way for the Twin Turbo kit. The headers are for sale cheap ($350) with everything including stainless band clamps.

The headers/y is 100% complete and ready to bolt in. Here's the thread I just posted in the sale section.

A WS6 doesn't need appearance mods, but an LS1 needs exhaust mods.
