personally i like the LT1 camaros over the LS1 camaros. but i like the LT1 and Ls1 t/as the same...but definately know the LS1 produce more power...sooo it'd be a toss up on a good price...

goodluck on your decision!

You could get a really new/low mile or heads/cam or supercharged LT1 for 6k.

What is wrong with Lt1's I ran 13.2 at 107 2.1 60ft with long tubes. I can't see getting a mustang over a Lt1. I bought this car for 5K on ebay. Have had absolutly no problems with the car.

You can find a good cheap LS1 with low mileage. I was recently in the market for an Lt1 T/A for around $5,000-$6,500 after looking for a year i found a 1998 T/A with 73,000 miles. The owner was asking $9,500 for it but I talked him down to $8,700 and the car has no problems at all. So if you are patient and look around you should be able to find an LS1 for a good price they are just harder to find. And trust me if you get an LT1 after that first year yoiur going to wish you waited and bought an LS1 the difference in amazing.
