real or fake WS6? im looking at buying a trans am and it has the ram air hood and original air box with factory ram air decal on it and real polished 17" ws6 wheels, but missing the rear ws6 badge and all of the decals/badges ( i also think the car was recently repainted) which is probably why all the badges are missing, but does anyone know what the door code is or what i can check for to see if its real or not. any help would be greatly appreciated

it was in dallas, and i basically already bought the car.....i just have to inspect it/drive it to make sure that i want it.....it was on autotrader i think its probably a real car but was repainted....the carfax is clean so eithe rthe paint was faded and repainted or if it was ever wrecked it wasnt reported to insurance....so i duno really im about to go up there and look at he car at 1.....from what i have read WU8 is the code for SS's and not WS6 and supposedly WS6 is the code for a WS6

well i bought the car today, as far as i can tell i think its a real one. its been repainted (its a good paint job though) original color, but the door jam sticker was removed along with the emblems....it has the original polished ws6 wheels and the original ram air box with decal, and factory ws6 hood......i tried calling slp but i duno if that number was right in that post.....but i would sure like to find out for sure and provided its real maybe somehow order a new door jam sticker and then re-badge it , if anyone else has anymore info i would appreciate it thanks
