LS1 Engine Ticking Noise

LS1 Engine Ticking Noise My car is a 2002 camaro SS with a stock LS1 60K Miles. Everytime i start the car in the morning it makes this ticking noise that almost sounds like a lifter? I've heard alot of LS1 cars make this same noise, i was just wondering if someone could clarify what this is and if there is a fix? Someone also told me that it could be piston slap? thanks

some say its the valvetrain. some say its minor piston slap, if it goes away after its at normal operating temp. Mine does the same thing. try www.pistonslap.com
