Default Seafoamed Today

So I finally got the chance to seafoam my car today. That was some of the most fun I have had in a long time. The car is running considerably better. The idle is smooth and the power that was lost feels if though it is back. Granted I am sure it is not that much of a difference, but before from a stop I could hammer on it and break the tire loose for a short period of time, now when I hammer on it the tire will continue to spin. So I would say the car is running better. It was wierd there was alot of smoke for about 50 yards and then it was done.

where can you buy that stuff at I'm having trouble finding it...my jaguar has a little tiny rough spot at idle, but I guess I can't expect much out of that car, lol.

any autoparts store should have it. I live in the midwest so I got mine at the local Co-op.

Autozone, Pep boys, just about everyone has it. Just search in google and have it shipped to your door if your lazy.

I seafoamed my mustang and it smoothed the idle out alot. Didn't notice too much of a difference otherwise except for the idle.

How do you use it? Do you just put it in your gas tank like fuel injector cleaners?

**** i think you can use for everything, but I just ran it through the intake and cleaned off the valves and all that junk that gets corroded in there. To do that I just poured the bottle into a vaccum hose off of the brake booster and it sucked it right in. The cool thing about it was it made my car sound like it had a 232/230 cam haha. But yes you can put it into your gas tank as well, I believe you can also put it in your oil but don't quote me on that one.

oh, and it will make the car smoke for a few minutes depending on how bad it is inside the engine (mine was decent with 130k), and it will want to die too. just a heads up.

Since I had so much fun with my TA I decided to do it to my partol unit. It is a 2002 Chevy Impala with the 3.8L. It has 112,000 miles. I cut back how much I put in the oil. When I took off in it, there was very little smoke. I guess that means it is clean. Also how long can I leave the Seafoam in the Oil.

thanks, I have read leave it in for a short drive and I have also heard to leave it in for 2000 miles. Thanks for the help, 200 miles sounds good to me.

it says to put it in the tank, but you dont have to. Ethanol is an alcohol cleaner, which is in most gas you buy now-a-days, and ethanol cleans your engine.
