I think that LT1's run at about 15-20psi at operating temp idling and around 40-50psi off idle. I could be wrong, but I think thats it

At idle, cruise, or WOT?

And I'm guessing you're asking in regards to an LT1?

ls1's good oil psi is 40 at idle 60 at wot....

acceptable is 30+ at idle and 50+wot....

anything idling under 25psi for anypoint of time....will create problems

a scan tool is not going to agree with the gauge on the dash, a manual pressure gauge may or may not agree with the scan tool. all this means is you are not going to know the true oil pressure until you check it w\a known good mechanical gauge. the ones on the dash should not be trusted for accuracy.

I agree.

Usually one will find that a mechanical gage will show pressure to be slightly lower than the factory gage on the dash, assuming the factory sending unit is working properly.
