I caved. LS1 #2. LS1 #2. 1999 Rally Red Camaro SS, 6-speed, 40k miles. for $10,000 even. The car was so perfect, it has the original brake pads, is 100% unmodified, new tires, so I couldn't haggle, and believe me, I'm a HUGE haggler.
I just hit 120mph and slammed the brakes about 10 minutes ago - the car is sick. I'm also seriously loving the hard-top. The cloth buckets can go, but w/e.
No traction control, no t-tops, cloth seats - its the perfect setup for the autocross events, Evolution School, and road courses i'm going to race it in this summer.

Had a nice day out; spent 4 hours on the inside cleaning it out, still have to do the carpets, and clayed/wax coat #1 the outside. Another couple days of detailing and she'll be as good as new:

Look at the sticker in the glove box or on the passenger door that lists the RPO codes. Look for the code "1LE." You got a steal on that car in my opinion, and the 1LE option would just make it that much moreso.

I went the totally wrong direction with the car though, plus I was spending too much money and wanted to go back for my masters.
My company now pays for my masters program, so I picked up #2 and am going to actually race this thing in the FCSCC and CART events, w/ suspension, brakes, and bolt-ons only.

Yep, this one is almost identical to mine, except my rims are chrome and the car is black. Mines hardtop, cloth, no TCS, does have the Monsoon PL/PW however.
