Block and intake only. The rest of the engine was standard LS1 issue.

I heard some kind of urban legend similar to this post. Someone told me that GM took some of the Vette motors from the production line and put them in the 01-02' SS/TA. This was because of a shortage of LS1 motors. I don't have a clue either way.

The F-bodies never came with the LS6 cam or 243 (LS6) heads stock. Ever.

'01-'02 F-BODY
10% LS6 block (not necessarily weaker, better bay-to-bay breathing at high rpms because the LS6 has a large portion of its power range in the upper rpm's, also contains more oil passages in the block for better oil flow)
LS6 intake manifold
LS6 clutch, pressure plate, flywheel - which also meant the updated hydraulics
( i have an LS6 block, no i am not special, but i like having it )
