Default Odd smell coming from under hood.

Odd ball question. Since its finally warming back up in Kentucky, I have noticed that when I drive my TA 1/2 way hard. I can smell a burning/hot plastic/rubber smell coming from under the hood of the car. At first I thought it was the plug wires getting hot on the headers but thats not it. The other night I was able to smell in really strong in the holes in the bumper right below the ram air scoops. Any clue what this could be?

Nope, its not that kinda smell. I'm thinking its the cooling system. Maybe something is getting hotter than it should.

Check the coolant hoses to see if they are not touching the radiator, check if the front tires are rubbing somewhere, check for belt slippage...

Well, in my experience. You will hear a sqeaky noise when the belt is about worn. It was pretty messed up by the time i got to it.

I believe its coming from the heater hose where it runs along the shock tower. Its less than 3-4 inches from the headers.
