Ive done the headers on my shitbox twice so I've got some experience.

Leave the stock cat on on the driver side & take it out along with the header. You can try to do the passenger side with the cat on, but I honestly dont think its worth the time to try and wiggle your way up in there.

Find the biggest jack you can find that lifts the car the highest. You will have to stack blocks of wood on the jack to get it to lift higher. Try to use the least amount of boards as possible. Both times I was using a crap jack that barely lifted the car a foot and their was so many 2 x 4's sandwiched between the jack and the k member it looked terrifying. Also back the car on ramps.

Id also recommend changing the plugs because its a big bitch even with the LT's.

Installing headers isnt hard, its basically just putting bolts where bolts go. Just hope that your LT's, ORY and catback will line up & come together easy.

Jack the car as high as you can to give yourself room to manuver the LT's in, the passenger side shouldn't take to much to get in, for the driver side disconnect the steering linkage and you should be able to get it in.

I agree with what everyone has said so far. But IMO your best friends threw this ENTIRE install are going to be a 10MM gear wrench, and band-aids.

BTW what kind of headers did you get, some are way easier to install then others. I had my pacesetter LT's done in about 3 hours(but that was my 3rd header install).

I pulled mine out in about 3 minutes during my head install, and got them back in in about 10. Just get a few jackstands and jack up up to a good height. once you start trying to put the headers in you will know if youve go the room to maneuver them in and if not, then jack it a little more. I think I only needed to go up abotu 4 clicks on the jack stands to get the room I needed.

The biggest problem me and wilwhite2kss had was getting the damn dipstick out of the oil pan. My experience over all was good. Get the car high as possible is the key. I removed the headers with the cats connected to them. Also all we did was jack up the motor a few inches to get the passenger side in. Here is a pic and good luck

BTW I in my pic we were installing Pacesetters and ORY. I love em. Great fit and still look great after more than 6 months. Also if you use the Included O2 extensions they aren't that bad just make sure wrap them good
