Default car jacked up wrong?

well my buddies car just got serviced by a dealer.. and it looks like the idiots jacked the car up incorrectly.. 01 ss camaro.. they lifted it on the lip all the way towards the front where it says do not jack up.. and now right in front of the door.. the little fender is sticking out.. is there a way to bend that back in with out actually hurting the car at all?

mine has been jacked on that about 3 times now. Just hammer it back to where its suppose to be and it will pull the fender back in where its suppose to be

Take it back and show them. This is retarded to have happened at the dealer. They really ought to know the jacking points on THEIR OWN CARS.

Dealership should fix it, but if they weasel... put some large vice grips on the pinch weld, straighten it, then pull down hard. If it isn't too bad, it will bring fender bottom back in.

The fender bottoms are easy. Just unbolt em underneith and use a slidehammer or vice grips & rubber mallet. Then refasten bolts.

Sears did the same thing to me. I just used vice grips to bed the tab back into place. I remember a few months ago a guy on this forum had this happen at Pep boys and ended up taking them to court. Some repairs you're forced to take it to the shop so when I do I ask to stand by the car when they put it on the lift. Heres the thread.

I had a catback installed by one of the sponsers here and they bent my tabs....they specialize in F-bods and Vettes...WOW. I did'nt notice any body panel misalignments, so I left it at that...I simply will never go back.

PepBoys did the same exact thing to my car when i was trying to get an alignment. Not only did they do that they bent and ripped my y pipe off of my car. I got two body shop estimates for like $930 and $1,030 and am waiting on the claims office to cut me a check. Those people are ignorant

There's an easy way to fix it. Sue them for the damage, and never take it there again. Problem solved.
