Default mass air flow sensor

okay my car would hesitate when i would press on the throttle and someone said to try and clean my mass air flow sensor. So i tried it and it worked for alittle while but now it is doing it again. Is my sensor messing up because it should get dirty again that quick. Any thoughts

did you change your fuel filter?
if your MAF is gettin dirty that fast you might not be getting a good seal on your lid or something

i'm pretty sure my lid is on right i'll check it and the fuel filter but it only does it for a second and when i'm rolling. If i'm stopped it doesn't do it.

i'm sure a hundred people are going to post in disagreeance with me but if you're having probs with it buy and Slp one
I did notice a good diff upgrading that,it doesnt flow more air but it tricks your comp into runnin leaner
i'd say it was more of a feelable diff then the lid for sure
everyone will say that the stock will be good to 500hp i've got two friends who are very smart when it comes to these cars and they both have them

Do not over oil the k&n. And like mentioned before, keep the stock MAF sensor.

I was having that problem, it kind of just stopped doing it on it's own and hasn't done it for close to a week now. But, people were telling me to check plug wires. Maybe one's not completely on all the way, or maybe you just need new plugs or plug wires.

When you clean it just make damn sure you don't bend the small wires on the sensors inside the MAF

I slowly accelerating from a stop sign last night and all of a sudden my motor completely died on me and would crank over but then immediately die again so I waited about an hour for AAA and it fired up no problems when they go there so I drove it the 25 minutes home with no problems and when i got out and let it idle in the driveway it sputtered and died again. So I let it sit for about another hour and tried cranking it and it wouldn稚 even catch and more so I disconnect the MAF and it started up and ran just fine. I知 not sure if this is a dirty sensor or not but I知 wondering what would be the best thing to try and look into. I知 going to read the code when I get home from work.

Fuel filter should be changed every 10,000 miles. I'm not sue why they cant last longer than other cars but the owners manual suggests every 10k.. I agree with the CRC maf cleaner, its good stuff.
