Talking ls1 quarter mile time

I have a 1999 z28 with the 5.7 ls1 my mods are an slp ls6 intake manifold,asp underdrive pulley,pacesetter long tube headers , richmond 373 gears , vigilante 3600 torque converter , billet survo and a 3 and a half inch borla exhaust system with no cat converters with a cut out ,SLP FUCTIONAL RAM AIR HOOD , SLP AIRBOX LID , CUSTOM COMPUTER TUNED AND A HIGH FLOW BELLOW.

WHAT SHOULD I RUN IN A QUARTER MILE????

at a good track in descent air with traction mid 12s should be easily obtained......
search is your friend ....when it works

No, but he can compare his mods to the others and their ETs so he have a slight idea of what 1/4 times he will run.

ima go with 12.7x - 12.9 also get the driver mod!

Get some sticky tires and you will run low 12's easy.

Yep, low 12's with drag radials. You could hit high 11s with some suspension tuning as well.

there is a racing section he can search.....its full of cars with mods similar to his that have posted numerous 1/4 and 1/8 mile timeslips.....
hell theres a timeslip list in one of the stickies that no one looks at.....

so you have been here 2 years and havent figured out how to search???????

You should break into the 12s at minimum, where you end up there is anybodys guess. It will probably depend on the track more than anything. I would say 12.6-12.8 in ideal conditions though.

In my opinion low to mid 12's with Nitto 555R's and good 60' as long as you got it tuned right! Put it this way, my 01SS has a lid and center loud mouth SLP and runs 13.2 @ 106.5 with Nitto's, it all depends how u drive it, good luck

You should run low 12's for sure with Mickeys! Your 60' should be good since u have a torque converter, let us know

with good traction i'll predict around 12.3-12.6
