Please Help Today I was driving on the express way when I came up the oil pressure dropped. Its usually at 40 or more ps1. When I revved the engine I could here the engine knock I drove it home and parked it .......... is my motor gone? Do I need a oil pump??????????....... Next as long as I was cruising foot slightly on the gas I herd no knock …….. only over a certain rpm like 3 or 4k...........

ok i just went to start the car up after its been sitting ..... the oil pressure is almost back up when i revved the pressure went to about normal numbers still witha slight knock
