on my driver side window the front corner doesn't go up all the way there 1/4 inch gap between the seel and window how would i fix that. just got the and i am fixing the little things. also found out i have 2.73 gears in a m6 think i will notice a difference with 4.10s. thanks

thats a window motor problem and your going to have to replace it....

2.73s in a m6 hmmm.....yea youll notice a big difference between them and 4.10s but i think you might need to look into other mods if you just got this car, before you do gears....

then thats a track problem where the window is not being held up high enough inside the door.... either way your going to have to take the door panel off

OMG! 4,294,967,296 posts has got to be the LS1tech record. Word of advice though:

Turn off the computer. Then stand up if you can. If not then you may need physical therapy to revive the muscles in your legs. Once you can move again, look for a large rectangular shaped object. It should have a small round **** about waist high. Turn that **** and pull towards you.

Now step outside and say hello to a place called "the real world"

Seriously though you should remove the door panel to get a good look at how the window is sitting on its track. If it's not something obvious then you may have to bite the bullet and take it to a shop or dealership.

what year car do you have?

some of the 93 LT1s came with 2.73s factory since they have a differently geared T56.

it a 01 z28 got from a dealer told me it was stock. speedometer shows 60 but i am doing 70 at 1300rpm in 6th.

You might have to take it to the shop because there going to have to replace a rivet that is griding the hole in the fiberglass door bigger. They have to remount the regulator to prevent movment.

I had this done already.

you sure your tach isint off? i mean, i have 3.42's in mine and its geared high. i couldnt imagine trying to take off on a hill with 2.73's.....

2.73 in m6 = 1300rpm 73mph. stock is 1600 at 71mph. my car shows 1300 at 73mph and the speedometer says 60. how would i check to see if the tach is off?

So has someone paced you? How do you know that your speedo is off? The dealership said its stock, but stock for an M6 is a 3.42 gear, stock for an A4 is usually a 2.73, sometimes a 3.23. Dealerships dont really know squat.

Yes, you should notice a difference with 4.10s. I have heard that you won't feel much difference until you hit these gears. Then again, my car came with the 4.10s already installed by the first owner. THe only other TA I have drove with a stock rear end was a 94 LT1.

So when you are in 6th gear, your speedo says ~60 mph, and your tach reads 1300 rpm?
