Buyer's advice plz! Hi guys, I'm gearing up for a swap in my RX, WAIT WAIT before you 
me!
I'm going to be checking out a 2000 z28 with right @ 58k on it.
ok Questions:
1: Any specific things I'm looking for as far as the engine is concerned while running? little sounds, etc... that would tip one of you gear gods off that it's something not to deal with?
2: Any idea on what a good price would be to offer? I don't wanna lowball, but I'm not going to pay top dollar either! I'm supposed to be checking it out tonight, and I'll take some photos, but from what I've gathered, it's missing seats, hood and driver door with passenger side impact.
any help would be greatly appreciated! Or if any of you are in the Portland area, pm me and I'll buy you a beer to come check it out with me!

well.. I went and checked it out... lifters were knocking, dude had pretty much stripped the car... leather interior was gone gone, no glove box, no center console, shifter looked like something out of a bad knockoff of Grease...took a full minute for the idle to even out... damage was in the rear passenger side and took out the wheel assembly on the front passenger side... looked like someone screwed a drift and ended up over a curb and into a pole... my guess is that the knocking would be from pinging the redline and/or running it low/out of oil....
I dunno if I want to inherit that for 4500

No...much more trouble than it's worth with all the engine troubles taken into consideration and the fact that the body and interior is FUBAR. You'll find the right one just be patient.
