What kind of codes is it pulling?
Think it's possible you pinched the engine sensor wire harness that the maf is on? I did that once when you swapping a transmission. On a stock car it'll make it run like ****, but on an ms4, depending on the fall back tables it seems like it may not run at all. Check the eng sens fuse. Other than that I don't know what to tell ya.

Almost sounds like VATS....I don't know why a tranny swap would cause that though.

Yeah, Vats will do that but like the silverado said makes no sense, but it mite just be perfect timing for the lil wires that read the chip in your key to go bad, or security to mess up, just guesses....those pinching of wires probably your problem.

i had the same problem with mine today.to took it for ever to hold idel. all i did to mine was put a new MAF on it, unplugged the battery, and let it set over night. and today when i tried to fire mine up it done the same thing then i finally started to idel by itself.
your computer is probobly trying to reset itself would be my guess.

VATS wouldn't make it hard to hold idle, it just wouldn't fire at all. You checked the fuses?
