uve got a point about the altitude, didnt put that into consideration, as well as temp/humidity, and track conditions....the auto though really shouldnt make that much of a difference though. maybe a .1 to .2 at most.

no sir...03 mustang gt 4.6 2v. my other buddy with a 99 mustang gt ran almost the same times. he put on DRs and ran an 8.5 consistent. when i added gears i actually ran worse because of traction issues. i understand how u think its farfetched because most mustang owners CANT DRIVE!!!! but anything less than that (unless driven by John Force...lol) doesnt seem right.
of course then i saw an exhaust/intake ss camaro run low 8s and it kinda busted my spirits.

no it had a catback, air filter, and DRs (245 nittos).....not stock but sure aint gonna add much, i mean it is a 2v 4.6. wel all seemed to keep out 60s at 1.9-2.0 my other buddy in his catback and air intake GT auto ran a consistent 8.99-9.0 all night long. im not tryin to make mustangs faster than they are, im simply sayin that it is possible and an ls1 with the good driver mod should make low 8s. im not bashing you for not runnin a low 8 either.

BONE STOCK boys an a4 or stick ls1 will do 8.8 - 9.2 and up! Track conditions and driver are always a factor. Everyone forgets to mention tires, bolt on's lids..etc.. Only a small percentage of these cars out there are bone stock right now.

was that 12.6 with the dr's, because I have an 01 A4 with just a lid and cutout run a 12.9 on kdws, and you have a full bolt on 02 a4 with a stall running a 12.6...is something wrong with yopur car is my car some sort of factory freak.

b03Mustang... I beg to differ about mustang drivers being bad..I used to think that about Camaro drivers until I got on here. You sound like a good driver and of course your sea level track is going to yield better times. As for the guy running 9.1, get sticky tires and prolly the driver mod
