I have a 2002 A4 with all bolt ons and a PTC 3500 stall converter. I ran a 8.0 @ 86.22 mph with a 1.74 60ft. This was done on Micky Thompson ET Streets DR's.. I hooked very hard. My 1/4 mile time was a 12.6 @ 108

Back in 03, my previous car, 01 TA a4, while stock, went 8.40s after I got the feel for it. I remember the first time ever down the track it went 8.72.
My current car (02 m6) went 8.40s as well while stock.
Your 60ft is killing you, get it down and you'll pick up and be closer to where you should be.

Another thing...learning to launch a car on street tires is difficult. I'd suggest picking up a pair of Nitto DR's for the car, it'll make the learning curve of launching much easier IMO. I think that will also bring your trap speed up a little bit, as I suffered from the same low trap as you did back when I was on street tires. For instance, my car moved like a full bolt on M6 car should from a roll, but only trapped a best of 107 at the time. Put DR's on, which allowed me to actually accelerate through my first and second gear instead of blowing the tires off, and increased my traps to a consistent 110-111.
