what size cam in my ws6????
i have a 2000 ws6, SLP loudmouth cat-back, SLP lid, SLP maf, FAST tb, and fast toys ram air, im fixing to have my car put in the shop to have it lowered while it is in there im haveing a set of headers put on it and i was wondering what size cam i should put in it, i dont want a big one but i do want something that will have a good sound to it and performance as well, and will i have to have the car tuned for the cam???

A4 or M6? hopefully its M6 so you dont have to worry about getting a stall too. I would plan on getting a tune regardless of what sized cam you choose.

If you wanna daily drive n performance definitely stay under the 230's/230's probably a 228 would be good. Check them out on Texas-Speed gives you an idea for what each cam can offer performance wise!

Well before you start thinking about a cam again get you a Vigalante 3200 stall convertor and see how you like that. A good stall convertor is worth its weight in smiles.

Yap, a stall definately does the trick! Its an absolute world of difference just throwing one in. But, when you do decide to go with a cam, I would stay with a 224ish cam. Definately has great power, and will also have a good lopey idle as long as you stay around a 112lsa. I am in love with my new setup, check it out in the sig.

just dont settle for the ls6 cam like i did, 550 lift, 218/204 duration, 117 lsa. its really too small. low hp numbers, positives are 600 rpm idle, no lope sound so drives like stock. the board here seems to like the tr224, i called lunati and they recommended for me a 559 lift, 221 dur on 115 lsa which was mild / med. now i wish i'd gone slightly bigger, very low dyno numbers. just my 2 cents!
