How about a nice large cam? Not sure if it will get your car louder, but it will sound completely different.

well the cheapest is to just cut the muffler off. And remove the cats with some strait pipe.

Next would be the cutout.

man i'm runnin the tsp rumbler, with longtubes and no cats..i used to just have a cutout on the stock exhaust and i thought that was loud...but my car is really loud now..and it has some rasp around 2500 rpm...which makes it a little obnoxious, but also makes the car sound mean as hell at the same time

Oh. Well if you're looking for a full exhaust, then the way to go would be true duals without mufflers or Longtubes + ORY + SLP Loudmouth (version 1 or 2).

open your mouth and say one sentence. j/k

get some headers, a nice cam, true duals and dump them before the rear with turndowns or get some bullets.

if you want a muffler, go straight from the y to a flowmaster 1 chamber outback or loudmouth....otherwise just leave it off after the y.

IMO I think theres a huge difference between a good sounding exhaust and a loud one. the cut outs really only sound awesome at WOT IMO, but dont forget about an intake to let more air flow . but for your question...intake, LT's and dumped before the rear axle so it hits the pavement and echoes for a louder sound.

Get some longtubes and then cap them off. That should be obnoxiously loud. But on a serious note (pun intended), really OBNOXIOUS would be bolting up the longtubes and then hanging them up on a bracket for support.

Summit has one. Hedman Hedders has one. Pacesetter might have one. Hell, go to an exhaust shop and tell them to bend two pipes the same length, slice em off at the bends, and then weld them.

get Long tubes and clamp mufflers with turndowns right onto the collectors. That will be really loud. You will gain a little bit of peak HP and loose some low and midrange torque without an X or H pipe though but IMO being 25-50 lbs lighter than duals with an X pipe is worth the loss in midrange torque plus I have 3.73's and a 3600 stall so its not like the car spends time below 3000 rpm anyhow.. lol.

Here is a vid of mine.. stock internal with flowmaster 1 chambers on the collectors of Kooks 1 7/8" LT's. Idle and a bit of rev. I have the Park/neutral rev limit set at 4800 rpm though so it pops and crap when it hits the cutoff.

So what do you do for ground clearance on speed bumps ECT?? On the drivers side you will tear up your muff very soon.

Its about 4.5" off the ground at its lowest point on the drivers side. I still have better clearance than most TD setups I've seen. It may look low in the vid but its deceiving. Every day I drive right over multiple sets of 3" tall speed bumps with no problem and I've been running this exhaust since August with the only change the being the angle of the turndowns.
