Roll down the windows and crank karma chameleon as loud as that monsoon will blast.

That or cutouts, which sound kinda crappy without a cam IMO. To each their own though.

I'd personally do Pacesetter LT's, 3" true dual dumps with an X-pipe with flo-pro twisters.

Here's basically the setup I had on my SS, except I had a little lopier camshaft.

Open headers or straight pipes/no mufflers should do the job...

Easiest way to become obnoxiously loud? Mix 1 part Longtubes, 1 part ory, ond 1 part WOT. Should be a good recipe.

Cut-out. Can't beat the price. Fed-ex guy just dropped it off, can't wait to get it installed.

If you can take the noise go open headers. I did it with my 5.9 for a couple months, so it wouldn't bother me much. HeHe.

TSP makes a good true dual setup. I love the ones on my car. Kooks LT headers into TSP true duals with powersticks and no cats, an X pipe, turned out in front of the rear tire.

IMO this setup sounds the best while still being loud. The true duals just sound different than an ORY or even and ORY with a cutout.

The powersticks cut out the metallic sound that some people like but i personally do not. I don't want my car sounding like I'm being followed by a marching band clapping a bunch of spoons together. It smooths out the sound cruising through town, but at WOT with the windows down I can actually feel the pressure on my eardrums its so loud. I constantly get people looking behind them to see where the noise is coming from even if I'm in 3rd at 35 mph. And having the exhaust turned out in front of the tire pretty much just points it at the other cars around you.

Couple that exhaust with a pretty aggressive cam and everyone in a parking lot stops in their tracks when you crank the car up cold. I think its the best of both worlds.

Having LT's with no cats and straight pipes sounds kinda crappy to me especially on a car with a stock cam.

If you did a similar setup to mine you could throw 2 electric cutouts in after the LT's if you wanted. Then you would have an even louder option.

I'll try and get a sound clip of my car soon. I need to put some new belts on first though, it wouldn't sounds to good with squeaky belts in the background lol.

thats how i did it. i uncap it when i want it to be stupid-loud. its a 3-in. straight pipe in place of the cat. with the cap closed the exhaust runs through the straight pipe and its still loud but not obnoxious.
