Default Stall and glowing TA stereo cover

SO im a newb and was wondering since an LS1 will be my daily driver is a stall really needed since i dont care about high RPM launches?
and I have seen aftermarket stereo plates on here with Trans AM/Camaro glowing above the headunit. Where can a buy one of these and do they sell with green light up?

depends do you plan on throwing in a cam? if you are try and figure out which cam so you can buy the correct stall and do it once. also would probably be a good idea to get a transmission cooler also.

No. You dont need a stall. Your stock stall converter will do just fine for daily driving. Since you said it's just your daily driver and maybe a few road races every once and a while, you don't need one. If you drag race then you will need one. Also, the higher the stall the more sloppy it is, which requires more gas to be used in every day driving.

What you could to if you want a low stall like you said previously... call up a junk yard look for a v6 that was hit or something with a good torque converter they have stock like 2500 stall. Put that in your car... I know a guy runnin one on his vette pushing around 800 hp on a twin turbo ls1. Can pick that up for maybe 200 if that I think. Should launch you a little better then what comes with the car.

yeah... stock stall speed is 1800 or so.. so 2400 is a waste of money.

at least get a 3000 or 3200

thats what i did, and i wont look back. i wanted smaller at first cause i didnt want to race it either. but youll get over that fast.
