i was thinking of installing a slp loudmouth right before my cut out,

i want my car to sound a little louder without wasting too much money, i have stock exhaust and a cut out, my question is will the loudmouth make a noticeable difference or is it not worth it?

a loudmouth 1 from stock exhaust will make a huge difference in how loud it is. it will vibrate loose coins in the cupholder. and **** off your neighbors. btw that's a real nice looking camaro.

If u mean put the LM Resonator before the cutout--then you keep stock exhaust also, it will be quieter.....If thats what u mean....get rid of stocker..and it will be LOUD..

well i think i might do it because its cheap, any ways i have an electric cut out so when i close it up it sounds stock, so that will workout fine

is there like different types of loudmouth, i think isaw one that said loudmouthII

i just went on slp, they have the loudmouth shotgun and have the loudmouth II, the one that is louder is the shotgun one right?

Wait, You wanna put a Loudmouth resonator before the cutout? It won't make the car louder. You should just ditch the stock exhaust and put a LM on your car..

The loudmouth 1 uses a resonator called 'shotgun' that is basically a strait through pipe. Not much to kill any noise. The resonator can easily be swapped with the loudmouth 2 which is called the 'bullet'. It's much tamer.

If you do a search on the loudmouth you'll quickly find that it's not the most popular. A lot of people don't care for it because it can be so loud. I had the LM1 on my '00 Z/28 and loved it! It was DEFINITELY a lot louder than the stock catback. It's an inexpensive product and the install is a snap, but the performance gains are minimal at best.

Put an X pipe and a nice set of true duals on there and dump those bitches under the axle. I get compliments all the time. Every LS1 deserves to sound good, not like a speed boat out on the ocean. ****... I mean I guess go ahead and throw the LM on there, but itll sound just like every other LS1 out there, raspy as all hell. I like how mine is unique, because when its heard its a nice different sound from every other LS1.

I personally have the LM2, I bought my camaro with it on, and I loved it at the first second before I even agreed to buy the car! so you know i def love it! its loud, but in my opinion its not obnoxious unless ur in a lower gear driving at 2000 rpm or higher.
all I do is if im driving in residential areas at night, i just cruise in 4th doin 50km/h which puts me at about 1500 rpm's, and its louder than most cars still, but its not loud enuf to wake ne neighbors up, trust me, my mom sleeps light and it never woke her up.

dont be an ******* and you wont have to worry bout pissin neone off.
(oh and since I have my LM2 dump right after the lil muffler before the axle, its even louder hahahaha, so if u cruise by police, just do what i said, 4th gear it. lol)

If you plan on getting headers in the future, I'd stay away from the loudmouth I. I heard a LS1 GTO with that setup and it was HORRIBLE. It's not the volume, it just sounds like total **** to me. A loudmouth II would be much more reasonable with longtubes.
