Default just a question about the head lights

hey i have a 2002 trans am and i have a question about the lights. im not sure if they are maid or what ever but i was trying to find out if there was a way to change the way of the light system it self. so instead of the lights popping up and down that they are just in the car it self almost like the cameros or if you could do a mod to go like the vet lights if any one knows any thing please reply much help and if not and any one knows where to get like the whole new lighting system please let me know i have to broke lights that dont pop up any more they just make a grinding nose and already tried the quick fix for that and nothing helped so please help

If your lights don't pop up and just grind, disconnect the motors and then use the manual lift **** right next to the lights to lift them up.

That way you can at least drive your car with lights on while you wait for the new gears to arrive. There are plenty of sellers on Ebay selling the gear sets.

No matter what you do, DO NOT do a fixed light conversion. They all look like ****. At least IMO.

thnxs for the help. i know iv seen some of the conversion kits and they really do look like crap and not wanting to spend 1000 on something that doesnt even look good. thats money for better parts. im still on the look for some gears if any one knows any one that has some or where to get em let me know i know i asked the dealer ship and just for the motor it self they said 300 a pop so trying to work another way besides i live in alaska and soon enough the sun never goes down lol

also if you are in big need for a replacement just for the time being, autozone sells the gears as well, but they are just the nylon replacements... if im not mistaken, they are part number 42400
