Default Headers?

I have been searching thru the sight but cant find the answer. Is there any headers i can buy that will be emmisions friendly and not have to use 02 sims or be tuned out, that will basicaly bolt right on to my exhaust (stage 3). Also i dont want any codes popping up? Thanks

Why wouldn't you just get it tuned out?

Yeah I pretty sure I've read on here that all you'll need 02 sensor wise is the corvette ones.
but pacesetters have the emission friendly headers, although i bought a pair and none of the 02 or air holes were in the right spot

Just sounds kinda expensive getting it tuned out. But after reading some more post maybe that is the way to go. What about shortie headers, would they also need to be tuned out? I am not really worried about the horsepower gains from the lt headers, I just want to get the car breathing a little better after the lid upgrade.

im pretty sure shorties can bolt up to the stock y pipe, but it also depends on what brand you buy. if you go with shorties i suggest a new y pipe or have the shop fab one up for you

I got Pacesetters and both headers have O2 sensor holes but you'll need extenders. Texas Speed and Performance has everything you need.

i have american racing. They have all o2 sensor fittings. The only codes I got were from secondary air, and egr (because I got the race headers). They do have provisions for those if that's what you want, then you probably wouldn't throw any codes.

You can get headers with all the emissions fittings. You will need a tune to get the car to run right. You may not need to tune out the rear sensors, sometimes they work ok.

I had the Mac mid length put on my T/A, didn't need o2 extensions or anything, they just bolted them up and away I went. The Macs enable you to leave your cats where there suppose to be in case that ever becomes an issue in your State. I've never had it tuned and I just passed emissions last month with no problems. I picked up 12RWHP and sounds good.

I bought a kit that came with the cats and Y-pipe, everything bolted up nicely, they have a silver coating on them and still look like the day I bought them, about three years ago.

i would get them tuned out, it will make your car run a lot better, better mpg, and you will pick up a little extra power

my pacesetters coated lt's came with o2 extensions for the two front. just get pacesetter and delete the rear o2 witha tune. Where i live all the cars have to have safety inspections and I just take mine to someone that will pass it without caring about the stupid cats.

There's a rumor floating around that LS7 manifolds flow as good if not better then most shorty headers for the LSX
