What? I'm guessing you mean oil-consumption...

I have a 94 LT1 Caprice, the engine is untouched, valve covers have never even been off

It has 218k on it and runs and drives like 50k

I wouldn't go that far. I've seen many maintained hondas last past 350k miles... I'll stick to my LS1 though - currently at 110k with no problems (and zero oil consumption).

I love this thread...

I've got 104k and thought that was high! Now I don't feel so bad! Looking forward to many more miles...

144,xxx on the 98 but just recently put her down for surgery. she was running fine though.

the 01 had 92k on her when she was gutted for the 408 but the stocker made 48psi of oil pressure at idle the day she was pulled

yeah no doubt a honda will last, but they rust like swiss cheese(esp in the wheel wells) with lots of salt(see shity canadian winters!).....the newer ones are slightly better, but only marginally.

We have a Work truck with a 6.0 with over 330 thousand miles on it. Uses about a quart of oil a week but it keeps on goin. Not to shabby on power either for so many miles.

I've got 175xxx miles on my 99 T/A. It only uses about half a quart of oil every 3-4k miles.

118K on the T/A and its still running strong with no oil consumption idles at 40psi. About to put the SS at 80k and it idles at almost 60 psi. I cant say enough about the LS1, I thrash and thrash and it always takes it like a champ. If you take care of this engine it will just keep on going.

My car has history, but is finally done. Prior to motor blowing, it had 74,000 miles.
